Unattended Direct Cremation Service

  • We offer a fully inclusive Direct Cremation at Yeovil Crematorium.
  • Taking the coffin to a local crematorium for cremation. No ceremony will take place and it will not be possible for family/friends to attend.
  • Providing a simple coffin.
  • Crematorium fees included.
  • Includes an interment of ashes into ‘The Woodland Avenue’ of the crematorium garden of remembrance if required or returning them to our care for collection within 30 days
  • (There is an additional charge of £175 to convey someone out of hours or from a private residence.)

The Reflection Service

  • A simple gathering at Yeovil Crematorium for a small number of family and friends. Including 20-minute service time for a maximum of 20 people. The service to take place at either 9am, 9:30am or 4pm.
  • This service includes - Collection of deceased from hospital, care home, or private address within business hours. Making all necessary arrangements and collating the required documentation. Supplying a simple coffin.
  • Providing a Traditional “oak-effect” coffin or our Eco Jute Coffin.
  • Conveyance of deceased to Yeovil Crematorium in suitable transport. No hearse or bearers are included.
  • Includes Cremation Fee.
  • Includes an interment of ashes into ‘The Woodland Avenue’ of the crematorium garden of remembrance if required or returning them to our care for collection within 30 days.
  • Viewing the deceased in the Chapel of Rest within office hours: additional £95.
  • (There is an additional charge of £175 to convey someone out of hours or from a private residence.)

Exclusions

Please note that these Direct Funerals are specified to provide a straightforward, affordable funeral, and as such there are a number of services that are EXCLUDED from this arrangement. These exclusions include, but are not limited to:

  • Viewing the deceased in the Chapel of Rest.
  • Providing Orders of Service.
  • Listing of names and placing funeral notices/reports in local newspapers.
  • Handling of charity donations.
  • Extension of credit with regard to payment of our account; settlement will be required in full prior to the funeral taking place.
  • Neither of these funerals includes any form of memorialisation, however this may be arranged directly with the crematorium or burial ground afterwards.
  • Additional costs will be required in the following circumstances:
    • Where collection of the deceased is required out of hours, or from care homes and private residences.
    • If an interior coffin size larger than 6’2” x 22” (1.88m x 0.56m) is required.
    • If a pacemaker is to be removed for cremation.
    • Delivery of ashes to residence outside of the Somerset, Dorset, Devon area.
    • In these cases, we will be pleased to give you a quotation based on your specific circumstances.
